  • In 2020, Joe launched CalmHR, a supportive mechanism for law firms, offering comprehensive back-office HR, payroll, compliance, retirement and benefits solutions.
  • In 2022, Potomac Companies merged with Acrisure, the world’s 6th largest FinTech & fastest growing in industry history.
  • Joe is an employee benefits and HR subject matter expert and has continued to build his premier agency concentrating on the integration of benefits, controlling healthcare costs, back-office automation, and creating elite attraction & retention tools for law firms.
  • Joe speaks frequently at various organizations, trade association conferences, SHRM functions, and ALA national & local level events.
  • Joe grew up in New Jersey, attended Carnegie Mellon University, and graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. He now splits his time between Fort Lauderdale, FL & Rockville, MD with his wife, children & grandchildren.

  • Turn right off San Antonio Street into The Otis parking garage which is just past the hotel valet. Be sure to take a parking ticket from the machine as you enter.
  • Take the elevators to Level 1.
  • Once on Level 1, head to the Acre 41 where you will check in with the restaurant host.
  • Parking validation will be provided to all ALA guests. Please be sure to bring your ticket with you to be validated.
