The length of time a lawyer uses to retain files might not be as important as having other components of a file retention policy. 

ABOUT OUR PANELISTS

Bill Bradford has more than 30 years of information management industry experience, both as a practitioner and a business partner. Prior to accepting his current role, as Information Governance and Records Specialist at Jagged Peak Energy, Bill spent 10 years working for various Business Partners in the RIM industry, helping clients with records & information management issues and challenges within their organizations.  Prior to that Bill spent more than 20 years working for 3 major law firms in Denver Colorado working in records and Information management positions. During that time bill was a member of the Mile-High Chapter of ALA.  Bill has been a member of ARMA since 2004, holding a variety of positions with the local Mile-High Chapter as well as Chapter Advisor and Region Director positions with the Midwest/Rocky Mountain Region of ARMA.  Bill was elected to the ARMA International board of Directors in 2018 and served as President-elect of ARMA International from July 2018 -June 2019 and as of July 2019 is the Current President of ARMA International.

Jett Hanna, Senior Vice President of Loss Prevention.  Jett's duties have included supervising lawyers’ and judges’ professional liability claims, underwriting, loss prevention and computer operations. Jett received his B.B.A., summa cum laude, in Management Science and Computers from Southern Methodist University in 1980, and his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 1983. He lectures and writes on legal malpractice and insurance topics. Mr. Hanna was recognized in 2009 as a top writing contributor to the Charter for Compassion.

Important Reminders About Parking

Option 1:  Park in the Chase Tower Building Garage at 221 W. 6th Street.  Be sure to either stamp your parking ticket or pick up a discount ticket at the meeting to receive the $5.00 discounted parking rate when you exit the garage.

Option 2:  If the Garage is full, the Headliners Club offers a discounted parking rate of $5 at the parking lot at 600 Guadalupe Street (Lot P3010 which is connected to the Extended Stay America Hotel).

Instructions for Using Discounted Rate

Enter lot from either Guadalupe Street or San Antonio Street

  • Park in any unmarked space and immediately head over to the Pay Machine
  • Enter license plate into Pay Machine
  • Choose the rate named "Headliners 3Hr"
  • Enter passcode: HC1955
  • Pay $5.00 (Pay Machine accepts cash or credit cards)
